my day was so simple yet so radiant and blissful. I went out to lay in the grass because today was extremely hot with clear skies. I was listening to led zeppelin on a really quiet volume instead of as loud as I normally do,and when the songs turned off I took out my earphones and listened to the silence. The birds singing, the wind, the world around me. I looked at how the tree branches and flowers seem to be waving hello when the wind blows them sideways,I just cleared my mind and allowed the silence and earth to fill my spirit instead of listening to my thoughts and worries and paying attention to things that aren’t as important as I thought they were. Sometimes a little bonding time with mother nature is all you need.
"And when at last you find someone to whom you feel you can pour out your soul, you stop in shock at the words you utter— they are so rusty, so ugly, so meaningless and feeble from being kept in the small cramped dark inside you so long."
